Häcker’s Grand Hotel
The Maharishi Ayurveda Health Centre Bad Ems is located in the Imperial Wing of “Häcker’s Grand Hotel“ which sits right on the banks of the Lahn River. From the outside, the grand hotel looks like a baroque castle with its central section, two extended wings, and a monumental courtyard. On the inside, it provides the comfort of a four- or five-star hotel. In days gone by the Russian tsar’s court once resided here. The Hotel is located in the midst of the Nassau nature reserve, and in this historic place, many famous people came to visit, including Goethe and Kaiser Wilhelm I. Also, the author Dostojewski and the composers Jacques Offenbach and Richard Wagner gained new strength and vitality in this building and in Bad Ems.
The Hotel is equipped with an enormous and newly renovated wellness and spa facility. It contains many different saunas and baths as well as a thermal swimming pool that is fed from one of the healing springs that this area is famous for. Guests of the Maharishi Ayurveda Health Centre enjoy free access to the pool during their Panchakarma treatment stay.
